As a mother, working professional and wife of an oil and gas entrepreneur, our founding attorney Whitney Watson Wood understands that your legacy planning and the administration of a loved one’s estate are very personal. We are here to listen and guide clients through both the practical planning aspects as well as the more complex legal considerations and processes. We strive to educate and empower our clients.

Ms. Wood is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s Law School. She attended law school while also balancing a professional career working at H-E-B Grocery Company’s corporate offices and Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company in San Antonio. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2013. Ms. Wood and her husband relocated to San Angelo in 2015 and welcomed a son in 2020. Ms. Wood practiced at a San Angelo civil law firm before pursuing a passion for supporting local youth by serving as an executive director on the San Angelo ISD leadership team from 2020 to 2022. She will always be a strong supporter of public education, students and educators in the Concho Valley and the San Angelo READS! literacy initiative, which she helped to launch in 2020. She has a heart for service to her community. Ms. Wood was selected as the Junior League of San Angelo Active of the Year in 2019, and has served as President of the San Angelo Chapter of the Texas Exes (alumni group for The University of Texas at Austin). She also fervently supports, and was formerly a loaned executive for, the United Way of the Concho Valley, and is a past board member for Ballet San Angelo.
